Close the reference(s), or
From the File menu, select Save ( 
Ctrl+S).
To save a reference that you have just created or to save any changes made to an existing reference:
Close the reference(s), or
From the File menu, select Save ( Ctrl+S).
If you Quit Exit from EndNote while Reference windows are open, the references are closed and saved automatically.
